Finding a room that never closes
I got sober in a city with one meeting a week. Then I found Meridian, and suddenly there was always a room open.
The first night I logged in I didn't say a word. I just listened, camera off, and cried a little. They told me to keep coming back. So I did.
Four years later I chair the Sunrise meeting most mornings. The room that never closed is the reason I'm still here.
